CryoPen uses a controlled flow of nitrous oxide to create a precise and extremely cold freezing temperature.

Nitrous Oxide works at -89 degrees centigrade, which is as cold as you can go without causing damage to the healthy tissue.

When the lesion is frozen, the water inside the cells turns to ice crystals destroying the cells.
